Versity shifted its training sessions from the athletic track at the University to the 5 a-side football grounds at Pieta'. Attendance to the first training session was encouraging considering also the torrid heat which is still present on the Maltese islands. However, some bad news hit Versity as the end of the training session was approaching. Both, Aaron Sammut and Jonathan Grima walked out limping with injuries in two separate incidents. Their presence in next Saturday's friendly against Tarxien is highly improbable.

Next Satuday's friendly will see Versity play thier first match of the season with coach Daniel Camilleri maybe experimenting with the new players registered this season and also new tactics. This will also be Versity's first showing at San Gwann ground. It is important that multi-stud shoes are worn for the match and the players be present at 3:00pm since the match will start immediately. Good luck Versity!
